Step 1: Your VIP Welcome and Meet-up

Your first day starts before you even reach the clinic. After you have breakfast at your hotel, our private chauffeur will pick you up in a comfortable Mercedes transfer van. There’s no need to worry about figuring out Istanbul’s busy roads or public transport; we handle the drive directly to our clinic.

Once you arrive, our reception team and your personal, bilingual coordinator will welcome you. Your coordinator is there to help you with everything: they’ll assist with the initial paperwork, go into appointments with you, translate what the doctors say, and make sure you get clear answers to any questions you have.

Step 2: A Clear Picture: 3D Diagnostics

After checking in, we’ll take you to our diagnostics room. To get a highly accurate view of your teeth and jaw, we use a 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scan rather than just standard flat X-rays.

This 3D scan takes less than a minute and is entirely painless. It gives our team a detailed 3D model of your jawbone, nerve pathways, and tooth roots. This is incredibly helpful for:

  • Checking if you have enough bone density for dental implants.
  • Finding the exact path of nerves to make sure implant placement is completely safe.
  • Examining the inner structure of teeth that might need crowns or root canal therapy.

Right after the scan, we’ll use a handheld digital scanner to map your teeth. This replaces the messy, uncomfortable putty trays used in traditional clinics, making it much easier to get an exact digital model of your bite.

Step 3: Sitting Down with Dr. Nilgün Başar

Once we have your scans and digital models ready, you’ll sit down with our Chief of Staff and lead prosthodontist, Dr. Nilgün Başar. This one-on-one consultation is the heart of your first day. Together, you’ll look at your 3D scans on a screen so you can see exactly what she sees.

Dr. Başar will talk through what you want to achieve, any concerns you have, and how you want your teeth to look and feel. She’ll walk you through her findings and explain your options. Whether you’re looking at E-Max veneers, zirconia crowns, or implants, she will explain the reasoning behind each path so you can make a decision you feel good about.

Step 4: Finalizing Your Personalized Plan

After your clinical consultation, your coordinator will give you a detailed, written copy of your treatment plan. This breaks down the exact treatments, the specific materials and brands we’ll use (like Straumann or E-Max), the timeline, and the final costs.

We don’t like surprises, and we know you don’t either. The price on your plan is exactly what you’ll pay. There are no surprise lab fees, diagnostic charges, or hidden taxes. You can take all the time you need to review it and ask questions before deciding to move forward.

Step 5: Getting Started and Fitting Your Temporaries

Once you’re ready to begin, we’ll start the first phase of treatment. If you’re getting crowns or veneers, this is when we gently prepare your teeth. We use local anesthesia and careful techniques to make sure you don’t feel any pain and can stay relaxed throughout.

After the teeth are ready, we take a final digital scan for our in-house CAD/CAM lab. We want you to enjoy your time in Istanbul, so we never send you back to your hotel with prepared teeth exposed. Before you leave, we’ll custom-fit a set of high-quality temporary restorations. These temporaries protect your teeth, prevent any sensitivity, and look natural. You can eat, speak, and sightsee around the city with confidence while our lab works on your permanent teeth.

Step 6: Heading Back to Your Hotel

With the first day’s work done, your coordinator will go over your schedule for the rest of the week, give you some simple aftercare tips, and hand you any mild pain relievers you might need. Then, our VIP transfer van will take you back to your hotel so you can put your feet up and relax for the evening.
