What is a 3D CBCT Scan?

It all starts with a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scan. Unlike old-school 2D dental X-rays that only give us a flat picture, a CBCT scan creates a highly detailed 3D digital model of your entire jaw and facial structure. In just a few seconds, the scan shows us:
